Project Manager (Utility Safety Practice)

Required to have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years Project Managment expereince. Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects as assigned and within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule and objectives . Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of projects. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Provides leadership for project team members and the Project Managment process. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department requirieng the intergration of multiple functional organizations. Must follow and adhere to Project Management Process and Requirements. PMP Certification Required within 6 months of job assignment.


Position Requirements:

  • Seeking an experienced Project Manager, with utility safety/work practice experience, to lead a Safety Rule Alignment initiative .
  • Scope of the initiative requires coordination between multiple functions, multiple departments, and multiple operating companies.
  • There are over 100 alignment opportunities to be addressed, some of which require more project planning than others.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Tracking working team project plans
  2. Creating and maintaining overall project plan
  3.  Facilitating periodic updates to all levels (including Sr. Leadership)
  4.  Documenting alignment work/decisions
