Construction Coordinator

This position reports to the Project Manager for assigned projects and interfaces with all project Stakeholders during the detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases of the project.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Interface with and report to the Project Manager for coordination of all construction execution functions from design document management and coordination, schedule analysis and optimization, status reporting and issue resolution, outage planning and coordination, material management and coordination, construction coordination, configuration control, and commissioning coordination. 
  • Provide leadership in assessing critical path and near critical path work with alignment and coordination of all on-site resources throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project.
  • Provide leadership in coordinating all project meetings and status reporting throughout the construction and commissioning phases of the project. 
  • Interface with construction Stakeholders, inclusive of IP and OP Construction, GIS vendors, Division, L&P, RRC, TC&M, LTS, and other support services to assess schedules and develop plans and strategies for ensuring the Integrated Project Schedule is optimized for all construction and commissioning activities. 
  • Provide leadership in evaluating construction sequencing and constructability for opportunities of schedule and budget improvements.
  • Provide coordination of the Field Change Request (FCR) and approval process. 
  • Interface with the A/E and the client's Engineering to assess engineering deliverables and schedules for ensuring design management and coordination of all project Stakeholders with Issued For Construction (IFC) documents, timely resolution of Requests For Information (RFIs), control of Engineering Change Notices and Red Lines, and timely resolution of Non-Conformance Reports.
  • Maintain and apply working knowledge of the client's DP&C processes, and the project-specific Project’s Execution Plan for optimizing the coordination of all resources and Stakeholders throughout the construction, commissioning, and turnover phases of the project.
