Responsible and accountable for overall project performance for projects including distribution construction, new technology programs, information technology and organizational initiatives, with focus on electric distribution reliability improvement initiatives.
Ensures project costs, schedule and scope are managed, including the development of recovery plans, to stay within approved limits.
Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
Primary communicator with the sponsor and key stakeholders on project issues, including executive level and interdepartmental presentations.
Ensures a good working relationship between the project team, line managers, and interfacing organizations.
Coaches and leads team members to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
Identify and obtain project team resources.
Ensures project team members understand their respective responsibilities.
May be required to manage other electric reliability programs with the intent to reduce frequency and/or duration of outages on the client's distribution system.
May also manage non-construction projects with direct accountability to project execution while leading a team to accomplishing objections within a given time frame and with limited resources.

Knowledge of Electric Distribution system, Reliability programs (desired)
Ability to utilize personal computers and desktop software such as MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point, etc.
Experience with computer systems such as Asset Suite 8, Primavera (desired).
Demonstrated and documented success at managing projects.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Demonstrated strong independent judgment skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team leader including the ability to handle conflicting priorities in a multi task environment.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
4-7 years project management or related experience
Knowledge or experience with electric reliability programs at electric utility
