Construction Electrical Engineer
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
• Adhere to all Site Safety and Environmental rules/regulations
• High Voltage Electrical distribution of 115kv, 13.8kv, 4160kv, 480v, 220/110v 
• All Instrumentation and controls installation and distribution
• Review of all electrical diagrams and compare to field installation 
• Review specifications project basis of design
• Knowledge of protective relaying
• Conduct daily systems walkdown oversight of the SubContractors – Metro for Fuel Yard; Cleveland Electric for BOP
• Maintain marked up master set of drawings of completions
• Participate in EPC meetings as assigned 
• Work with EPC on communications with Utility (Georgia Power, MEAG, GTC)
• Work with EPC on LOTO and Energization activities
• Communicate effectively with the EPC Electrical/Controls group
• Maintain daily log of activities
• Provide daily reporting to Project Oversight Team 
• Work closely with pre-commissioning activities with EPC 
• Working knowledge of Arc Flash requirements
• Provide some training when requested
• Other tasks as assigned

AS, BSEE, BSEET, or technical degree required with 5 – 10 years’ experience with high voltage electrical and controls systems; Excellent trouble shooting skills; Understand all electrical testing methods relative to high voltage lines, circuit breakers, protective relaying, low and medium voltage systems;
Experience with PLC’s, Allen Bradley, logic
Attend and participate in daily, weekly, monthly safety meetings
Knowledge and adherence to all associated environmental permitting
This position reports to Construction manager and Project Director. This is typically a dayshift position, however there may be occasional shift working assigned to cover backshifts and weekends to support the project needs. 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Working in the southeast of US where daily ambient temperatures reach 100 deg F with 100% relative humidity the majority of the year
Required to walk, climb stairs or ladders 75% of the time; work up to 12hrs shifts; be able to occasionally lift/push/pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to squat, kneel, bend on a frequent basis;
