Physical Security Manager

Duration: 12 months (W2)

This position will require working with business units, IT Architects, corporate governance and consultants to insure timely and satisfactory installation of the security assessment tool in meeting the clients quality standards.

 Duties

  • Develop and manage the client's corporate physical security assessment program in the development of an automated security assessment by a vendor.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Review deliverables including submittals prepared by team before meeting with the client.
  • Effectively apply client's methodology and enforce project standards.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Track and report progress on a weekly basis
  • Track and report progress and expenses on a monthly basis to leadership.
  • Manage day-to-day client and subcontractor interactions, set and manage expectations.
  • Develop lasting relationships with business unit personnel that foster collaboration among the business units.
  • Communicate effectively with business units and all other contractors involved in the project.
  • Facilitate team and business unit meetings effectively.
  • Keep project team well informed of changes within the scope or project.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Coordinate all project activities with business owners/stakeholders and other trades.
  • Manage the completion and distribution of all deliverables to customers, by tracking the delivery status and installation schedules, in accordance with required timeframes.
  • Oversee change order management.
  • Collect all closeout documentation together in a timely manner and deliver to client while also maintaining an archive for Presidio.
  • Advise upper management of necessary site-specific security operations process changes, including revisions to the Physical Security Vulnerability Assessment procedure
  • Integrate outputs of the security vulnerability assessment process with security exception and analysis functions and security operation support services functions
  • Perform and document threat and risk assessments to corporate assets
  • Perform and document security frameworks, standard and procedures.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight

Required Skills

  • Experience 5+ years of related experience in managing Physical security projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and deployment experience of Physical Security Assessment of vulnerability, threat and risk
  • Ability to manage IT, business unit and consultant for implementation of an automate security tool within company standards
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including client-facing consulting skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work under timeline pressures
  • Ability to manage and coordinate projects efficiently between multiply business units with
  • Excellent communication (Oral/Written)/interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and desire to succeed.
  • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP), Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or comparable industry designation College Degree or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation: Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Understanding of regulations impacting critical infrastructure
