Location: Work location can either be at  Welch, MN 55089 or at HQ, Minneapolis, MN 55401

1 year W2 Contract 

32/hr DOE

The Help Desk support role is a fundamental aspect of the IT organizations role of maintaining, developing and supporting personal computers, servers, local and wide area network, software, and data communications technologies.

Answers questions about installation and operation of assigned products and escalating all other issues to Level 3 support. This support will many times be contacting the appropriate IT resource that is knowledgeable in addressing the problem using call list, as opposed to working on the issue alone. Staffing the Help Desk phone in order to provide this support (taking call, clarifying issue, issuing Remedy ticket, solving immediately or assigning ticket to other IT) will be the primary activity.


  • Good phone decorum for users of diverse capability.
  • Provide Level 2 help-desk support.
  • Ability to address PC user issues.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint use and administration would be very useful.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and security.

An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is not required.

Hours are regular (M – F), with need to have infrequent but pre-planned flexibility.

OT would be unusual, but could be needed. Local candidates preferred.
