Job Title – QC Inspector
Location – Baltimore, MD, 21244.
Duration – 2 yrs
Observe, monitor and document proper completion of the following tasks in accordance with Client'specifications:
Site survey Gas meter relocation To exterior Elevated Bollard installations
Bucket Core drilled Bolt Down
Elevate to Meter Engineering & Standards unique protection situations
Coordinate with County/Municipal building inspectors for permits and final inspections
Resolve customer questions and elevate to Field Supervisor as necessary unresolved issues
Perform and document field safety audits.
Proficient in using utility maps and locating equipment in the field.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities – A QC Inspector’s primary duties are (but are not limited to:) Spend 95+% of their time in the field performing QC inspections, Inspection of existing utility facilities such as URD cables, splices, terminations, transformers, and other facilities as required, Observe the construction of URD splices and terminations while being constructed, Document identified deviations in QCI in a timely manner, Conduct and document Safety Audits as required, Attend weekly staff meetings.
Must have 5+ years of QC inspection experience in a utility setting. Gas OQ certified and/or Master Plumber/Gas Fitter are preferred.
