Job Title – Project Manager- Utility

Duration – 22 months

Location – Oakbrook, IL

Job Description-

  • Assist Reliability Program Group with Project Management functions.
  • Manage a lot of projects for various programs GRID, Storm Hardening
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget for projects that develop under assigned programs of work.
  • Working with contractors and internals in order to manage the projects
  • Duties includes more on the project planning side vs. execution; coordinate with the engineers to get the work designed and then hand over to in-house project management team to execute,but they do provide oversight and governance throughout the completion of the project.
  • These projects aren’t specific to project level, but rather on the programs in the reliability system based on outage patterns and then they design plans to correct the outages.




  • Looking for strong project management skills and strong access and Excel skills.
  • Project management experience
  • Utility background
  • Very strong Access report/table building experience in order to help the rest of the group learn how to get more out of the information.


Bachelor’s in Engineering
PMP Certifications

Experience required - In a Project Manager role for 3 years and plus, Utility background - 3 years and above.

Soft skills:

  • Good Communication skills
  • Staying on top of their work
  • Keeping track of the information and be able to report on the status for the management team
