The Smart Meter Connected Devices (SMCD) service enables client customers to receive electricity usage and estimated electricity cost information through a customer owned smart device that is wirelessly connected to the client smart meter at their home. With access to more information, client customers can make changes that can help them take control of their electricity use and save on electric bills. The SMCD Service also allows client customers to be introduced and educated on the capabilities of smart devices and client smart meters.
This role will support the Smart Meter Connected Devices service implementation team which will include helping to coordinate with SMCD service implementation, contractors and vendors. Additionally, the individual will analyze and reconcile SMCD specific participation data in an effort to help the staff understand what opportunities there may be to improve, evolve and grow the SMCD Service and associated customer facing and internal processes. In addition to the above, this resource will support a Senior Program Manager and Department Manager and will be tasked with a variety of wide-ranging activities and tasks including but not limited to:
Provide structured IT input and support
Researching, tracking and coordinating resolutions to customer issues arising from SMCD service enrollment inquires
Develop and implement ideas and strategies to expand the SMCD service
Coordinating and preparing weekly program specific scorecards and quarterly program reports as well as regular updates as they arise
Supporting SMCD service communication, outreach, and marketing efforts to help ensure that all messaging is accurate and consistent with the larger energy efficiency portfolio
Performing research on SMCD and smart meter related topics, ideas and technologies
Special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned

Day in the Life:
As previously noted, this role will support a Senior Program Manager and Department Manager and their day-to-day operations and tasks related to implementing a variety of residential customer focused initiatives. The individual in this role needs to be comfortable and have experience in an environment that changes every day and must have the ability to shift gears and priorities very quickly to meet changing demands. More specifically, the individual will support the Smart Meter Connected Devices service to ensure that tasks/projects are progressing; support, track and reconcile program participation data, pull together and prepare any research or documentation that might be necessary, communicate on a regular basis with Sr. Program Manager and program implementation contractors to facilitate completion of tasks and projects, schedule and coordinate meetings and finally, research, track and resolve client customer issues arising from participation in the SMCD service and support financial operations of the programs. This individual will also interface with a variety of internal groups and take part in meetings with marketing, metering and AMI Ops teams as well as external implementation contractors.
