Coordinates company training programs.
Handles all logistics associated with the training event: reserving rooms, sending out announcements, monitoring and sending out confirmations, monitoring cancellations, interacting with vendors, preparing materials for training events, interacting with site admins, ordering food, etc.
Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training on employees.
Enters evaluation data into survey tool.
Sharepoint experience preferred.
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Training Coordinator Responsibilities:
Contact vendors to schedule training classes and map out classes
Add training classes to LMS
Add training classes to Sharepoint BSC Leadership Development Training calendar
Add any new participant training materials to BSC Leadership Development Training
Add any new facilitator materials to the BSC HR sharepoint site
Add classes to the BSC Talent Management Outlook calendar
Send out quarterly training announcement to BSC All
Send training confirmations to participants and add them to the BSC Talent Management calendar invite
Monitor the BSC Talent Management mailbox for questions / requests / cancelations
Print materials for classes (participant guides, rosters, evals, etc)
Ensure any vendor materials are shipped to the appropriate location for the classes
Meet food vendor and instructors the day of the classes
Collect the evals and any other materials at the end of the class
Enter evals into the client's Survey Tool
Monitor any “no-shows” and send them emails requesting codeblock for cost related to not cancelling within the specified window
Invite new hires and new promotes (E4s-E5s) to Manager Essentials on a quarterly basis
Invite new hires and new promotes (E4s-E5s) to Essentials for Building High Performing Teams on an annual basis
Add E05-E09 new hires to the workflow
Add E05-E06 promotions to the workflow
Leadership Development Programs:
Track PTL, LDL, SDP and EL nominations in the designation spreadsheet. Send PTL, LDL & SDP nominations to COE.
Solicit speakers for PTL, LDL, SDP, EL and Essentials for Building High Performing Teams
Solicit leadership and alumni panel members for lunch time Q&A for Emerging Leaders
Solicit leadership panel members to judge class projects for Emerging Leaders
Solicit Emerging Leaders alumni to help coach new participants with their class project
Schedule coaching sessions – typically done 4-6 times a year
Maintain/add information to the BSC HR Sharepoint site
