Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Location: New Orleans, LA

Duration: 9 months (W2)

Job Description:

  • Possess knowledge of Corporate sourcing categories (for example marketing, communications, financial transactions) 
  • Advise/assist customers regarding contracts, materials concerns or administrative issues for a particular procurement. 
  • Determine appropriate pricing methods for bids, contracts and purchase orders. 
  • Prepare drafts of routine contracts and obtain legal, customer and management approval as needed 
  • Administer all contracts in accordance with client standard legal templates and change processes 
  • Identify and initiate changes in the terms and conditions of contracts and/or purchase orders to reflect current client policies, as needed. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders including internal customers, management, team mates and vendors 
  • Proactively resolve any issues that cause bottlenecks as it relates to specific procurements 
  • Follows client procurement policies and procedures in carrying out tasks
  • Possess knowledge of supply chain concepts and processes 
  • Assist with extracting contracts from system of record and other support activities as needed 
  • 3-5 years procurement experience required
