Provide technical and operational expertise to support and continuously improve the performance and reliability of key IT solutions.
Work with the IT and business communities to ensure the operational readiness of new or modified technology service offerings, and support the standard usage of technology services leveraging client’s standard governance process as outlined in the Management Model.
Build and maintain knowledge of supported technology service offerings and actively participate in the analysis of their use for business and/or IT partners.
Identify and provide Business and IT data on IT trends and issues. Participate in IT architecture review and standards setting.
Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners.
Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function
Provide performance evaluations, career development feedback, and recognition as required.
Appropriate Technical Skills:
Advanced literacy in supporting and maintaining Microsoft technologies, specifically Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS , SCOM and computer networking.
Experience adhering to, and utilizing, change control processes.
This person should have experience supporting distributed enterprise workloads of 5000 or more users, 100 Servers.
Experience administrating solutions in Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and other public cloud services.
Strong scripting experience is preferred (PowerShell /Visual Basic)
